Classic Paint is a drawing app that works entirely on your Mac. We built it so that your pictures and your information stay with you.

What we collect

Nothing. Classic Paint does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.

Your pictures

Pictures you open or save stay in the places you choose on your Mac. Classic Paint only reads or writes a file when you open it, save it, drag it onto the window or paste it.

Settings stored on your Mac

Classic Paint remembers a few preferences on your Mac, such as language, appearance, which toolbars are shown, custom colours and your list of recent files. These never leave your Mac, and you can clear the recent files list from File ▸ Recent.

Sharing and printing

If you use Share or Print, macOS handles the picture with the service you choose, such as AirDrop, Mail or your printer. Classic Paint does not receive any information back.

Purchases

If you buy from the Mac App Store, Apple processes the payment under Apple's privacy policy. If you buy directly from this website, the checkout provider processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your card details.

Children

Classic Paint is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
